Pricing Models: Overview

There are two primary pricing structures in the streaming industry:

Concurrent Pricing

This pricing structure can be good if you need to absolutely have a 'fixed cost' for you streaming.

Using this structure, you select a maximum amount of listeners, and specify a bitrate. You are then locked in to that bitrate, and cannot exceed the
maximum listeners. There is no possibility of overages with this structure.

For example:

You select a bitrate of 32k, and 25 listeners.

If you have 25 listeners, and a 26th person attempts to connect, they will be unable to do so.

Bandwidth-based Pricing

This is also known as usage-based. This pricing structure is generally the best way to go.

Using this structure, you prepay for a set amount of bandwidth based on your estimated usage. Each listener or viewer who connects to your stream will
use up bandwidth out of your pre-paid 'bucket'. if you go over your prepaid amount, the difference is billed as overage.

There are no limits on what you can stream, you can change bitrates at any time, and no viewer or listener is ever denied service.

You can learn more about calculating your bandwidth needs using one of NetroMedia's many calculators.

Concurrent Specific Questions

1.What happens if I reach my concurrent limit?

Any users who connect to your stream once you have reached your limit will not be able to connect until someone else stops listening.

2.What happens if my audience grows?

If you are frequently reaching your maximum amount of connections, you should upgrade to a different package with a higher total, or move into a
bandwidth program.

3.When can I move into a different package?

At any time. Simply let us know and we will make the adjustments for you.

4. How do I get started?

Choose one of the easy start streaming packages, or put together your own package. Then proceed to one of the "Start now" sign up forms to get set up
for streaming. All the NetroMedia streaming packages are based off of a pre-pay amount.

5. How do I pay for my streaming package?

NetroMedia accepts all major credit cards as form of payment. You can sign up and pay on line or we can send you a streaming services agreement that
you can keep as a record. We only ask that you sign and fax back to our accounting department for processing.

6. How long does it take for my account to get set up?

Generally all streaming services are set up in less than one business day. Often much quicker.

Bandwidth Specific Questions

1.How many people can connect to my stream?

We don't place any concurrent or total connection limits on your stream. You can have as many people connect to your stream as you want. More
connections simply means more bandwidth used.

2.How do I know how much bandwidth I am using?

Most of our packages include a real-time reporting tool that you can use to monitor your bandwidth. There are no 'surprise charges' when you stream
with NetroMedia.

3.What happens if I choose a package and my audience grows?

You can change your package at any time. The new package, whether it be higher or lower, will come into effect on your next monthly billing cycle.

4.What happens if I go over my bandwidth?

Your stream is left running, and you will simply pay the overage amount at the end of your normal monthly billing cycle.

5. How do I get started?

Choose one of the easy start streaming packages, or put together your own package. Then proceed to one of the start now sign up form to get set up
for streaming. All the NetroMedia streaming packages are based off of a pre-pay amount of bandwidth.

6. How do I pay for my streaming package?

NetroMedia accepts all major credit cards as form of payment. You can sign up and pay on line or we can send you a streaming services agreement that
you can keep as a record. We only ask that you sign and fax back to our accounting department for processing.

7. How long does it take for my account to get set up?

Generally all streaming services are set up in less than one business day. Often much quicker.

8. How much do I pay per Gb?

This depends on how much bandwidth you pre-pay for. Above 25Gb per month, you begin to get a reduction per Gb, please see our Pricing per GB Table for rates.
