This list is compiled by Microsoft. There may be other capture devices that will work with Microsoft Expression Encoder, although, if you use a device that is not listed, you will have to test if it works correctly with the encoder.

Any Microsoft DirectShow compatible video capture device should work and is generally listed on device specifications.
