Title: Access Denied error from Windows Media Encoder while using push broadcast method
Solution Number: 00000427 Type: Technical
Solution Details: You receive the error message "Access Denied 0x80070005" after entering your Username and Password.


This can be caused by a number of things:


  • When you Copy/Paste your Username or Password for Windows Media Encoder from the "Setup Instructions" for your Service, you may have also copied a space.

    Please try typing your Username and Password.

  • You removed the text "(Use default publishing point settings)" from the "Copy settings from" field of the Encoder.

    Click "New Session" and configure your encoder again, without removing this text.
