You may receive the following prompt after you click "Start Encoding" in Windows Media Encoder, after entering your Username and Password.
The full message reads; "It is not possible to detect the publishing point type. If you are using a multicast publishing point, you must create an announcement before you begin encoding. Click Help for more information."
This message is normal, and can be ignored, simply check "Don't show me this again" - and you will not receive it in future broadcasts. |
